Quito – Mindo - Tena - Banos

Start with a historical city tour of Quito. Visit the cloud forest and middle of the world equator line. Spend a few days in the Amazon rainforest and experience nature through fun excursions and activities. This trip and its activities can be planned according to your physical abilities and level of adventure desired.

Day 1: Arrive Quito

Arrive in Quito. You will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Quito & Teleferico

Historical Quito city tour and go up Pichincha Volcano with the Teleferico (cable car).

Day 3: Quito – Mindo - Quito

Visit the cloud forest, one of the most bio-diverse regions on earth with 350 bird species. Enjoy time at a butterfly farm. On our return trip back to Quito, visit Middle of the World, the actual point where the equator crosses.

Day 4: Quito – Tena

Drive to the heart of the Amazon forest, stopping at thermal pools on the way. Upon arrival, check in and meet with guides to plan your activities for the next day.

Day 5: Amazon Rainforest

Canoe on Napo River to Misahualli village, enjoy a picnic lunch along the riverbank and a chance to swim in the river. Visit a local community to see how they live and farm.

Day 6: Amazon Rainforest

Spend the day on Jatun Yacu or Big River where you will be white water rafting and enjoying the scenery along this Amazon river.

Day 7: Tena-Banos

Mountain bike from Banos to Pailon del Diablo water fall, a popular and scenic bike route and hike down the waterfall.

Day 8: Banos – Cotopaxi National Park

Visit the highest active volcano in the world at Cotopaxi National Park, which majestically stands in the middle of the national park. Our guides will take you on a hike through the stunning landscape.

Day 9 : Banos-Quito

Practice your climbing techniques on a canopy adventure course, a safe and fun experience for both adults and children. Drive back to Quito in the afternoon.

Day 10: Quito-Depart

Transfer from your hotel to the airport for your onward journey home.
