Day 1: Arrive Hanoi

Met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. Visa assistance is included on your arrival. Check in a freshen up. In the afternoon depart for an orientation tour of Hanoi experiencing the French colonial architecture, the recently restored Opera House and Hoan Kiem Lake. The best way to experience Hanoi's Old Quarter is on foot. Here street traders jostle for space on the sidewalks and crumbling houses are crammed into narrow alleyways that are still named after the goods that were traded there. Enjoy an evening performance of water puppetry. The ‘stage’ is a pool of water in which the puppeteers stand waist deep, hidden by a screen from behind which they skillfully maneuver the lacquered wooden puppets. End the evening with a traditional Vietnamese meal.

Day 2: Hanoi

The morning will begin with a visit to a typical Vietnamese market to take in the sights and sounds of street vendors and get an introduction of the Vietnamese cuisine. You will have an opportunity to sample some of the food and it’s ingredients as directed by your guide. After lunch, depart on a cultural and historical tour of the city by jeep including a visit to the Museum of Ethnology.
Enjoy an evening at the Hanoi Opera House to see the most currently scheduled performance. End the evening at Duong’s Restaurant- located in the Old Quarter where you will be hosted by the head chef and owner of this restaurant who has appeared in the Vietnamese version of Top Chef and Iron Chef. His cuisine is a mixture of traditional Vietnamese and French fusion, served with discerning eye for detail and presentation, within stylish and understated, elegant surroundings.

Day 3: Ha Noi – Ha Long Bay

After breakfast, depart by sea plane to Ha Long- a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands topped by rainforests which you will see on the cruise.

Day 4: Ha Long Bay – Ha Noi – Da Nang – Hoi An

Disembark from your cruise and transfer by seaplane transfer back to Hanoi. On arrival, you will connect to your flight to Da Nang. Met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. Evening dinner is included.

Day 5: Hoi An

Morning cooking lesson. After a morning breakfast, depart for Hoi An’s marketplace where you will have the chance to interact with the locals and purchase the ingredients needed for your cooking class. This morning’s cooking class begins with an introduction to some of the region’s best-known dishes including a tour of their own vegetable and herb garden.
After lunch, enjoy a walking tour of Hoi An’s Ancient Town which is devoid of most forms of motorized transport. Discover beautifully preserved old merchant houses, atmospheric temples and lively markets, the 400-year old Japanese Bridge and the busy waterfront.
End the evening with a dinner cruise on the Thu Bon River.Evening: Private Romantic Dinner Cruise on Thu Bon river - Exclusive with transfers. Experience the beauty and serenity of Hoi An’s elegant waterfront at night onboard a traditional Vietnamese barge. This leisurely cruise along the Thu Bon River affords a wonderful opportunity to witness the myriad colourful lanterns and fairy lights that help make Hoi An so atmospheric in the evening. Your 5-course meal is freshly prepared by the onboard chef and served to you by his team. The perfect complement to a day of sightseeing and walking, at the end of the evening you will be presented with your own floating candlelight lantern that should be placed in the water and pushed away gently as you make a wish for something special. Day 6: Hoi An

Free day at your leisure to relax on the beach and enjoy the resort facilities.

Day 7: Hoi An – Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

After breakfast, depart for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. After lunch, depart on a guided tour of the city which includes stops at the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, French Colonial architecture and the Museum of Vietnamese History.

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

Depart on a tour of Saigon after breakfast. This guided tours goes through several important neighborhoods giving you a flavor of daily life in this city. Stop for lunch. This afternoon, visit Cu Chi Tunnels - synonymous with the Vietnam War and a testament to the determined spirit of the Vietnamese, the underground network of passages at Cu Chi is a fascinating trip out of the city.End the evening at the Saigon Opera House to see the most currently scheduled performance followed by dinner.

Day 9: Mekong Delta (Cai Be’s area)

Day tour of the Mekong Delta on the beautiful Cai Be Princess exploring life on the Mekong River. During this cruise you will discover beautiful landscapes along the river and observe the typical Mekong delta rural life and floating markets. Return to Saigon in the evening.

Day 10: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to the Saigon airport for your onward flight.
